Yeme Community Capital (YCC) is a social enterprise established to steward Social Value funding responsibly and transparently.

To optimise efficiency and ensure appropriate regulatory oversight, YCC operates as a virtual foundation within the donor-advised fund custodial framework of Mercy Mission UK, a Charity Commission–registered charity (registration number 1122922).

Its grant-making approach is informed by a deep understanding of place-based need, developed through long-term community engagement and delivery. A dynamic grant-making programme as been developed on the back of this deep understanding of place-based challenges. Between 2023 and 2025, the charity distributed nearly £50 million to more than 130 charitable organisations.

Through this arrangement, Mercy Mission UK provides regulated fund custody, financial governance and statutory reporting on behalf of YCC. This ensures that Social Value contributions administered through YCC are managed within a compliant charitable environment, supported by experienced grant-making infrastructure and established governance processes.
